1st Annual TRB Dinner

The Bowling for Basketball fundraiser on March 5th was quite a success! We raised close to $4,000, and all of the proceeds go to making our basketball camps possible. Thank you so much for those who organized the event and to those who attended.

Colleen Aguilar and Basketball as a Mission were featured in the February 2011 issue of Ladies’ Home Journal. The article “Global Citizens” was written in Honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th. In the article, Ladies’ Home Journal salutes amazing American women who are change lives around the world.

Costa Rica

Basketball as a Mission will be holding two camps in Costa Rica. The first will be a three day clinic in the northern mountain town of Monterrey. The second camp will be a week long in the beach community of Guanacastes.

Dates: June 24th – July 3rd, 2011

Dominican Republic

Basketball as a Mission will be returning to El Cruce de Arroyo Hondo for the fifth time. We are excited to not only see a lot of familiar faces, but also to induct new campers into the cherished summer camp in this poverty stricken town.

Dates: July 22nd – July 31st, 2011

Applications are currently being accepted and all fundraising for these trips is due May 1st, 2011. Time to get excited!

Basketball as a Mission and Immaculate Conception Bowling Alley are partnering to hold the first annual Bowling for Basketball fundraiser. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. You will receive three drink tickets along with the opportunity to enjoy a fun night and raise money for an amazing cause.
