There are plenty of ways to help Basketball as a Mission aid underprivileged children.
Volunteer as a Coach:
There will be an application process for the 2011 camps if you are interested in joining BaaM on one of our camps.
Join our Board:
We are constantly trying to fundraise for these trips and appreciate any help in continuing this process. This includes attending board meetings, brainstorming and executing fundraising events, and being part of the decision making process for future camps.
Make a Monetary Donation:
Personal donations are always accepted. You may donate any amount you are able to. We greatly appreciate all financial assistance. Please make your check or money order payable to: Basketball as a Mission. You can send your donation to 9406 Mills Ave, Whittier, CA 90603. Basketball as a Mission is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, thus all donations are tax deductible.
Donate Gear:
Basketball as a Mission accepts donations of slightly worn or used or new athletic apparel, equipment, and more. Please feel free to donate your old shoes (any type of athletic shoe, sizes 12 childrens through 12 men’s) to a child in need. We also take new and used shorts, jerseys, sports bras, rims, basketballs, and more. If you have gear that you would like to donate, please email donations@basketballasamission.org. We are willing to arrange for shipment of gear if necessary.
